ABBR: T-CM A decrease in left ventricular function that occurs in conjunction with (and as a result of) rapid heart rhythms, such as atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, uncontrolled atrial flutter, chronic sinus tachycardia, and pacemaker-related tachycardia. Tachycardiomyopathy is also known as cardiomyopathy of tachycardia.
