Arabic numerals are used with masses and measures, as 10 g, or 3 ml. Portions of masses and measures are usually expressed decimally. For practical purposes, 1 cm³ (cubic centimeter) is equivalent to 1 ml (milliliter) and 1 drop (gtt.) of water is equivalent to a minim (m).
