Specialized myocytes in the heart that conduct the electrical impulses throughout the heart. In order of normal conduction, it consists of the sinoatrial node, the intra-atrial tracts, the atrioventricular node, the bundle of His, the right and left bundle branches, and the Purkinje fibers.
