Asian longhorned tick

A tick endemic in eastern Asia in the Ixodes family, scientific name Haemaphysalis longicornis, and now distributed globally. Its bite can transmit diseases to humans such as Lyme disease, human granulocytic anaplasmosis, and viral hemorrhagic fever. Known commonly as the Bush tick.
